OXIDANE

A safe and versatile substance, necessary for many industrial processes

Oxidane can be found in almost every industrial process, in a variety of forms. Useful in it's many phases, you might find it as a gas in commercial food preparation, as a solid for thermal regulation, or even molten Oxidane as a neutron-moderator in an atomic power plant!

  • IS OXIDANE SAFE?
When adhering to industrial best practice safety recommendations, Oxidane is safe and non-toxic. When brought to a stable temperature of approximately 300 degrees K, it can be handled without special precautions. In fact, Oxidane is commonly used in the manufacture of medicines and vaccines.
  • WHO USES OXIDANE?
Oxidane has been successfully commercialised in almost every major sector by our member organisations, and has found its way into a such various applications as power generation, fire suppression, hydraulic systems, cleaning products, and long-life processed foodstuffs. Almost every person on the planet benefits from Oxidane every single day, and millions of jobs are directly due to industrial processes that utilize Oxidane. It's no wonder that Time Magazine put this wonderful substance on it's cover in 1965, barely a year after our organisation was founded!
  • WHAT IS THE FOUNDATION'S ROLE?
The Foundation will continue to work with both members and governing bodies to ensure that our industry can continue to self-regulate with it's strong track record of both safety and economic output. Regulatory bodies can be assured of low friction implementing legislative frameworks based on our models, while our member organisations benefit from streamlined clearance in an industry-friendly environment.
  • WHAT IS DHMO?
The nomanclature "Di-Hydrogen Monoxide" is a scare term used by some publications of dubious scientific merit to describe some of our Member Products. The IUPAC preferred scientific designation is "Oxidane". The Oxidane Foundation and it's members are proud of it's strong safety record, and the facts show that Oxidane, when applied correctly, is completely safe.
  • IS OXIDANE A PERFORMANCE ENHANCING DRUG?
Despite what you may have heard, Oxidane is not a drug. Although used scientifically in the manufacture of performance drinks for elite athletes, there is typically less Oxidane remaning in the beverage than many popular sodas! No peak athletic body has restricted the use of Oxidane in sports, however we recommend you check with your relevant organsation to be sure.
